Question
Well, what I am trying to figure out is what you mean by 'Jedi Church', now it would be cool to see something like that, what would it really mean to be a member? Would it be more like a school? Or a dojo? Among the Shinto, there was a small shrine to the Ancestors and deities, would this be someth...

names
i am enthusiastic about joining the
jedi religion. not because of the
films. but because i have the same
beliefs as the jedi faith. but i do
have some enquiries. one is the
subject of names, is there a
ceremony like christians get
baptised. or is it just an optional
choice like an al...

names
Greetings Alfie, As the first World
Council is only newly formed, these
are issues we will be looking at. In
our Canadian order one is not
permitted to choose a Jedi name
until they have reached Jedi Status.
Please feel free to inquire as much
as you wish.
Through knowledge we gain...

Question
Well I was only 2yrs of age when
this "stuff" was released so I
pretty much dont remember believing
in anything. However I grew up
aspiring to be like a Jedi, and as
an adult I found that it is closest
to my beliefs and much easier to
ascribe to than religions from
thousands of years...

The Faith
Greetings James, It is not the film
but the ideals, morals, and ethics
within the films teachings that are
the base of the Jediism religion.
Just as the bible (for example) is
the basis of the Christian religion.
The religious debate can go on and
on, and will never be settled. If it

In the day and age
As a Philosophy
Student I can
appreciate the
aspect of this. I
see religion as a
course of study.
The best way any
person can
contribute to
humanity is the path
you should follow.
For the record my
Father is a
preacher, and I have
fundamentals that I
guide my life by. I
still hav...

Well stated, and it is good to see
that even though one may not follow
our beliefs, one understands what we
are guided by. Your comment is
appreciated. May the light guide

Beliefs
I am a christian, but I truly
believe in what you jedi stand for.
I try to follow God and stay on the
right path. I try to be a christian
that holds himself to the highest
standards, just like you jedi. I
guess my question would be, is it
possible to believe in both. Believe
that God...
