Embracing the light part 2
(text was cut off
due to size limit):
but Luke didn't
grasp the severity.
This manifests in
his duel with Vader.
Vader intentionally
manipulates him so
that Luke can
channel the Dark
Side; this is done
by creating fear,
anger, and doubt in
Luke. This is
effective enough,
and Luke ...

Hindu parallel to
Satan; Mara
initially tempts him
with the seduction
of fear, anger,
hatred, arrogance,
and lust. In both
cases, according to
legend, both the
Christ and Buddha
transcend these
temptations to unify
completely with the
Force.
Thus, as walkers of
the Jedi Path, I

First off i'll say i am an athiest,
so i dont believe in any religion. I
noticed Almost if not all
definitions of the word "religion"
in the dictionary refer to the
belief of a divine entity
or "creator". You might have jumped
the gun on calling yourselves a
religion, i think "bunch ...

Is it any more
absurd than guiding
one's spiritual
beliefs on another
VERY widely accepted
work of fiction -
called "The Bible"?
Answer me that.

Truths....

Ignorance is born from lack of
knowledge. Lack of knowledge leads to
misunderstanding. This can lead to
fear of the unknown. As Jedi, we
forgive you for the harshness of your
words and complete misunderstanding
for our way. The force is the energy
inside, outside & all around use. The...

Jedi Doctrine
I have always been a fan of the Star
Wars movies and when I was younger I
always wanted to be a Jedi. So, I
looked into this whole Jedi church
thing. I saw that there is not Jedi
doctrine. This, I believe, is where
the Jedi church is flawed. Without
any doctrine to govern yourselves,

Jedi Doctrine
Doctrine's aren't,
per se, a necessity.
Plenty of spiritual
traditions are
without doctrine.
Buddhism and Taoism
are two examples.
They have
foundational
philosophies,
definitely, but as
far as "what to
believe" or what
specific practices
to work with, there
is a wide array of
pot...

Embracing the light part 3
Most jedi see the dark side as a
imbalance. I have to ask what do
these people know of the dark side.
They themselves are afraid of it.
they confuse a dark jedi with a
Sith, two VERY DIFFERENT things.
Contrary to belief being able to
channel dark emotions doesnt make
you a sith.To be...

Ridicule will be common as we grow,
people are generally opposed to
change, as they are usually set in
their ways. Keep your head up and
stick to what YOU believe in, no one
can ever tell you what you believe
is wrong as long as you believe it
to be right. Be of Jedi mind, and be

From what I'm
reading, many of the
concepts adhered to
in Jediism isn't
that far removed
from Native American
Shamanism. The great
spirit, the
prevalence in life,
and the respect due
to all seems

Jedi Doctrine
Lack of specific
doctrine is at least
part of what
attracts me. I'm
able to evolve, and
have my belief
system evolve with
me without having
limitations put on
my by some people
who don't even know
me....

Jedi concepts and actualities...
If one is to believe the Jedi genuinely exist, as
believably and authentically as they do in the movies
from whence they originated, then it must be seen that
they must possess the abilities and powers they do in
real life as they do in the movies. Failure in this regard
makes them nothin...
