Jediism in the military
the military recognizes Jediism as a
religion. It is allowed on a
soldier's dog tags. My question is
what are the last rites for a Jedi?
That's the reason it is on dog
tags. Thank you!...

Beliefs
Actually if you
define what is "god"
you conclude that
he/she is the energy
that made/makes up
anything , coverns
everything and holds
it all together.He
or she is therefoce
the fundamental
power from what
everything comes
from.Now whats the
definition of "the
force" ? Exactly the

there is no law that
says what Jedi can
believe or what he
cant , just like
there is no element
that prevents X-Men
mutants from being a
christians
(nightcrawler for
example is deeply
religious)... Well ,
only thing is that
Jedi must do is
follow theyr code
and it does not

Good and Evil
Actually it is not
exactly clear what
are things called
"good" and "evil" ,
they are relative
terms , not a
separate things by
themselves.However
there are some
attributes that less
or more count for
one or another.It is
also sure that we
are actually neither
fully "good" or
fully "ev...

The Jedi Way
Greetings. I have been living by the
Jedi way for a long time now and I
have only just found out that the
Jedi way has been now classified as
an actual religion. This is great
news although I believe that the
Jedi way should not be considered as
a religion and instead it should be
re...

The Jedi Way
We just believe that there is an
energy force/field that binds all
things together that creates and
sustains life yet the force could
not exist without life. And it is
completely understandable (and so
does not go against science like
some religions do) for example: When
can feel som...

The Jedi Way
And lastly, I realise that the Jedi
in the star wars universe are
fictional but as tribute to the
ideas of the Jedi way that came
about from the films I think it
would be suitable to use the Jedi
symbol from the films to use as our
symbol of our Jedi order. I realise
this may be hard...

Beliefs
Hi. If you read the book, Christian
Wisdom of the Jedi Masters I am sure
you will resolve the issues you have
in trying to be both. You can be a
Jedi Christian or a Christian Jedi,
whichever suits you most.

What the Jedi should do most of the time
The Jedi should build verous tempels
and train in these tempels on the
Jedi doctrine, on martial scince.
Jedi should try to understand life
the universe and everything.you know
all about the Force. Lght and dark
I've read all the star wars books
and saw the movies. came to one
conclu...

Jediism in the military
I would really like
to discuss this as
well. When I was in
the ER the other
day, I didnt know
what to say when
they asked about my
religious preference
in case of death. .
Master Brimmstone is
close by, but say I
was dying, what
would the alst rites
be? Excellent
question Sandy.

Taoism
Th Jedi faith as like any other
faith will have aspects that
interwine will most other religions,
even ones that are polar opposites.
For example Christians vs Jewish, or
Muslim vs. Jehovah. There beliefs
are totally different yet inherently
similiar, it's just a different way
of tra...

Question
Hello.
I am doing a report
for school about the
Jedi Religion
therefore i have a
few questions. If
someone who belives
of the Jedi way
could answer these
questions i would be
really happy. Just
so you know it is
not anything that
makes fun of you i

Personally, I think
changing name is ok
if one wishes to -
although I
personally kept my
own name so far :)
May the force be

The Faith
That is a
complicated question
in a way. Many
people associate
Jediism with
starwars directly,
although the
religion itself is
more of a mix
between taoism,
buddhism and a few
other things here
and there. :)...

sith
note: the following
is not necessarly
the concil's view on
this. (ie: it's my
own view) - It all
depend on how a Sith
is defined- if you
take the homocidal
maniac that will
kill anyone in his
path, then yes,
we're very
different. If you
take one that wants
to know more about
the Force...

Death and bereavement
Once again, this is
only my own personal
view - I belive once
one die, all the
energy (some other
religion would call
it the soul) -
returns to the Force
itself - regardless
of what was done in
the current lifetime
- Although I'm not
sure about the
actual "soul" idea
itself - not sure

It is a human trait
- to fear what's
different-
Hopefully, things
will get better with
time - after all,
wiccan and pagans
are now recognised
and allowed to

anywhere noawdays :)...

Jediism in the military
I think the last
rites are an idea
brought by religions
led by fear
(christianity, islam
and so on) - where
they say "be good or
ELSE you go to
hell!- If I am
correct, the last
rites are to make
you go to heaven and
so on - but if we
indeed agree that
you will rejoin the
force - do we...

Taoism
Well, for starters
we do not have a
heaven and 9 levels
of hell :) - I think
the only similarity
is the use of Chi
(which we call the
force, but in
essence is the same
as far as I know)....
