Public Forum

The Public Forum is designed for those who do not wish a certificate and be included in the Inner Circle (includes participating in establishing the direction of the Jedi Church), while still maintaining their Jediism faith and belief system. Up until now the Outer Forum was not moderated by anyone expect a computerized guideline. From now on (December 22nd, 2008.) the forums will be moderated by a council member, and all previous writings have been removed except for the first posting. We would also like you to know ideas from general members are reviewed within the Inner Forum.

The idea behind the public forum is for brainstorming and progressive positive thoughts, for general members. Should you feel it necessary to poke fun of our religion because it is not something you believe in, we forgive you. As we already understand that people are afraid of  what is different, and generally opposed to change.

Jediism in the military
The main reason for last rites was to help a person's soul make it to heaven. Whatever their definition of "heaven" is. It's all part of the process. Send the soul off to where it needs to be, dispose of the remains properly, etc. What is the process for a Jedi?...

sith
the sith arent inherently evil, the sith code is not easily understood by many jedi, the best way to explain the difference is simple, the jedi gain power through understanding, a darksider gains understanding through power. Sith use their emotions to empower themselves, the big misc...

sith
Glad to see there are what I'd call proper sith around - Although I wouldn't consider myself a Sith at all, I always hoped someone claiming to be a Sith would give an answer like this :) - My views on this point are of course not shared by everyone , so I'll state once more, that thes...

Jediism in the military
Well personally, I believe it is a natural process, we are born borrowing from the Force, we die, returning to the Force... I personally do not think last rites would be needed :) - but that could be just me....

something in the force
Darth Vadings? and he makes fun of our religion? Well, I would simply discard that message - the whole caps thing "thinking it actually makes the text look more important" or something, the lack of punctuation and so on - just another kid thinking he's smart and everything by making f...

Jediism in the military
Any "death" ceremony is not just for the deceased. A lot of times it's for those left behind. Darth's funeral pyre was more for Luke than his father. Anakin was long released before then. An Irish wake is the best example of ceremonies for the living....

sith
Most of the debate comes from jedi or sith having a inherent belief that they should oppose each other. this isnt true at all, true sith generally view a jedi as irrelevent or things that dont concern them as the same, so by nature we arent your enemies or hostile in general. Sith ar...

Jediism in the military

something in the force
It is an understandable reaction to the Jediism religion, from those who have not come seeking knowledge but have come to only poke fun of what they lack the knowledge of. It will take time for those who do not understand, to understand, for those who lack the knowledge and truly see...

significance of sabers
IN jediism there is no signifigance of lightsabers as they are a fictional itme. Yes they will occur in teachings becuase of the origin, however they will be translated into kendo sticks, samurai swords, bo staff, and other modern day sword like weapons, as part of the teaching of se...

Jediism in the military
A ceremony for the deceased, is to honour their presence and what they brought to others during their life, and for those left behind to have closure and celebrate the life of the individual. I believe a Jedi does not mourn the loss, but rather celebrates all the positive things that...

No change no matter
