The universe began with a word.
What came first, the word or
the thought behind the word.
You cannot create language
without thought but you cannot
understand your thoughts
without language.
So which created the other and
thus created the universe....

Jedi groups
Hi, people, does anyone know of any
Jedi groups in the lower North
Island of New Zealand?
And does anyone know of any good
Websites which teaches what the
force really is, & how to use it?
Thanx...

significance of sabers
Lightsabers are a
fictional phallacy.
Which sounds both
funny and bad, but
is funny and true. I
would posit that
their symbolism is
truly potent. Only
those who have
earned the greatest
of trust would be
permitted to wield
one, were they real.
They symbolize not
just attainment of
the...

significance of sabers
I believe that people of the jedi
faith carry lightsabers as a symbol
that we are peace keepers. A
lightsaber is something that
everyone in the world knows and they
first think "Jedi", who are do-
gooders. I feel it an honour and a
privilage to carry one and
demonstrate my faith....

The thought came
first. In reality we
are all living in a
thought matrix. The
word is simply a
holographic
projection of the
thought. Thoughts
and Feelings create
all things....

I agree, thought can create but
I believe as spiritual beings
we understand feelings but do
not experience them and with
that thought we created the
earth and the bodies that we
inhabit so we can experience
feelings....

whats the councils view on this, I'm
curious as to what others think.
Light cant exist without dark,mainly
asking the opinion of a jedi/jedi
council member that jedism is their
strict way of life, others I wont
view as real jedi, this is why I'm
asking the council their opinions.

I cannot speak for all of council as
I am only 1 of 13. However, a Sith
believes in the force, just as a
Jedi believes in the force, and just
as a catholic would not promote a
prodestant, Jedi will not promote
the Sith. The core values of the
Jedi differ from that of the Sith. I

I could see why as no sith will
promote jedi teachings, you could
call me a dark jedi if the title
sith is uncomfortable. The only
true difference I could see between
jedi philosophy and sith values, is
jedi think outwards,sith inwards. I
could understand how a catholic
wouldnt prom...

a sith wouldnt run for council, its
not in our nature. Doing so implies
we'd have to share power, thats
something we wont do.Only way they
would is if it gave them most power
in the long run....

Do shaolin monks get taken seriously
as they "play" with weapons and wear
robe. The answer is yes. Everybody
knows the shaolin way, in which they
respect and live in harmony with all
life. So be it with Jediism. Jedi
are know to be keepers of the peace
and do their best to help those i...
