My lightsaber is metal. My robe is a
good quality hand-made robe, not a
cheap knock-off. Kendo uses some
sort of bamboo sword and kung-fu
uses training bokkens. I also agree
there should be some sort of
universal symbol however, I think
people will always see Jediism and
Star Wars as...

Sith
Your words are the first realistic,
and common sense words I have heard
from anyone calling themselves a
Sith. A normal discussion is a much
better path to understanding each
other, than hearing and reading the
responses from most of those who
call themselves a Sith. For this I
thank...

I try to find a way to merge light
and dark.I am sith however and first
and formost my path is the dark not
the light there's very few true sith
out there, in my time I've met maybe
2-3. My path has just taken me
toward the internal not external and
I draw my power from emotions. I'd

It's not the jedi way to take things
at face value. Like most religions,
there are conflicts of opinions. We
accept people for who they are and
treat them as they deserve to be
treated. If people can change then
why not be more open to different
idea's. This has been a really
interes...

how about instead of looking to a
object as a symbol of your order,
you make your actions the symbol.
People will always see the
lightsaber as the weapon that
defines the jedi order. That will
never change. jedi and sith however
know its not the weapon or even the
concept of it that ...

Do most religions not have objects
as symbols of their faith,
Christians have crucifix's, Jews
have those little hat thingies and
muslims have those CD type things
dangling from there car mirror. Like
I said in a previous post, I carry
just the hilt, no blade. I agree
that our action...

I could understand why as a jedi
knight you'd carry the hilt just
carrying shows that this is your
faith and your not ashamed of it.
Explaining to the average joe the
difference in your religion and
others is simple, the jedi code. By
knowing it, living by
it,understanding it, and cl...

But at least it gets people to
ask, "why have you got that". I'm
then able to tell them about our
faith. That's at least one way of
spreading the word in what and who
we are, also staying true to our
faith will help....

I believe this comment however
intended is out of place and not the
proper response from a Jedi. While
it may be true of the crucifix, the
kippah is not a sign of the Jewish
faith (as it is only worn by males),
and the hanging CD was I believe a
reference out of lack of knowledge,
an...

Appology is not necessary, one must
not be afraid to speak as they feel.
I believe it was understood what you
meant, I just didn't want anyone
else to take it out of context. We
can only learn from each other to
gain knowledge. What we say
determines how others will view us,

It's a commonly held knowledge, as yoda demonstrates in
"RETURN OF THE JEDI" that when a Jedi gives up the
ghost, their bodily matter decays, letting the spirit
transcend to, and become one with The Force....

Embracing the Light, confronting the shadow
Warm greetings
fellow Walkers.
On another Jedi
spirituality site I
browsed, three Jedi
archetypes were
discussed: the Light
Jedi, the Shadow
Jedi, and the Dark
Jedi. These
archetypes caused me
to reflect.
The 'shadow' is a
concept fairly
widespread in occult
circles. Jung used
