If the force is a type of unifying
energy within ourselves and
everyone, which has a light and dark
side to it. How can it be unifying
while light and dark side of the
force clash against each other?

don't believe in the
light and dark side
of "the Force"
beyond human
freewill (i.e.-it's
how you use it).
Though one might see
it in the same light
that Jews see God
and Satan (Analogy:
God-Willy Wonka,
Satan-Slugworth)...
